Audrey Ann Wilfong

Audrey Ann (Dutchess) Wilfong (66) passed away peacefully on January 20, 2026. She was born on January 1, 1960, in Catawba County, to the late Virginia Ann Wilfong and Oliver Pope Jr.

Audrey was known for her beauty, her radiant smile, and her warm, loving heart. She brought comfort, joy, and peace to all who knew her through her kind spirit, gentle words, and willingness to always listen. She was a constant source of love and support and was always there when her family needed her most.

She enjoyed long strolls, cooking, laughing, and spending time with those she loved. Above all, Audrey cherished her role as a grandmother. Her grandchildren were the center of her life, and to them, she was the light and soul of their world. Her love for them was deep, unwavering, and unconditional.

Audrey had a giving heart and was always looking out for others, even strangers. Her kindness and compassion left a lasting impact on everyone she encountered.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Callie Brown, and her grandson, Nyheim Wilfong.

She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved children, Latasha Wilfong and Shawn Wilfong; her grandchildren, Jory Wilfong, Sanaa Wilfong, and Hakim Wilfong, all of Hickory, and Stormi Wilfong of Lenoir; her sister, Mitzi Pope; and her brother, Steven Wilfong.

Audrey Ann (Dutchess) Wilfong will forever be remembered for her loving heart, gentle spirit, and the deep love she poured into her family.
