Brian Samuel Eugene Johnson

Brian Samuel Eugene Johnson, 27, of Hickory, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born July 7, 1998, he was the son of Brian Keith Johnson and Lakea Nicole Cromwell.

Brian had a deep love of the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He treasured time spent with family and friends and will be remembered for his love for his children and the special bond he shared with those closest to him.

He is survived by his beloved children, Oliver Johnson, Adeline Johnson, and Kalani Johnson; his mom, Lakea Cromwell; his sister, Abagail Johnson; his "favorite" nephew, Philip Johnson; his girlfriend, Hailey Rahea; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father, Brian Keith Johnson; and his grandparents, Carlos and Kathy Sutherland, and Phillip Cromwell.

A Celebration of LIfe will be planned for a later date.
