Brigitte Conger Loftis

Brigitte Ursula Conger Loftis, 80, of Lillington passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born February 16th, 1944 she was the daughter of the late Lottie Arnold (LA) Conger and Frieda Messer Conger.

She spent her life dedicated to her family and her passions. She had a deep love for nature and animals, which was evident in the time she spent on her property feeding the deer and geese, and caring for her beloved dogs. She had a creative spirit, expressing herself through her oil paintings inspired by the things that she loved. After completing her education at NC State with a Bachelor's of Arts in Accounting, Brigitte embarked on a long and successful career in real estate. She was extremely proud of her accomplishments and ability to provide for her family working as a realtor. But above all, Brigitte was a loving and devoted mother. She was always there for her children, loving and supporting them in every way possible. Her strength, determination, and love knew no bounds, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her

She is survived by two sons Eric Addis and Douglas Addis (Lisa); two grandchildren Eric Justin Addis and Sarah Marie Addis; and a brother Albrecht Conger.

She is preceded in death by her parents Lottie Arnold (LA) and Frieda Conger.

The family is holding a private celebration of life on the property she always loved and that brought her immense happiness.

In lieu of flowers, to honor Brigitte's love for animals, memorials may be made to your local ASPCA or rescue shelter.
