Carolina Yeannine Miller

Carolina Yeannine Miller, 50, of Hickory, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born July 22, 1975, she was the daughter of Angel Ramon Lias Payarez and Yamila Josefina Arellano.

Her laughter, her love for adventure, and the way she danced through life made every place brighter and every memory sweeter for those who knew her.

She found joy by the water, especially at the beach, where the sand and wind made her feel alive. She loved to dance with a light that lifted everyone around her. Some of her happiest moments were spent on the dance floor with friends, laughing and celebrating life. She embraced every adventure, finding her spirit in travel, exploration, and the memories she created along the way. These are the moments that will forever remind us of her bright and beautiful soul.

In addition to her parents, Carolina is survived by her son, Jacob Alexander Miller; her step-son, Dylan Thomas Miller and his wife, Elizabeth Chase Miller; her brothers, Angel Yamil Lias Arellano and Jesus Alexander Gastardi; her aunts, Clara Arellano and Carmen Arellano; her uncle, Antonio Ramon Arellano; and her dog, Mocha Miller. She is also survived by her best friends, Lina Hall and Claudia Vargas; her partner, Toby Dietz, with whom she shared a love young in time but immense in meaning; and a close circle of friends who brought joy and meaning to her life.

The celebration of life will be 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Sandy Ridge Baptist Church, 3702 16th St NE, Hickory, NC, 28601.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM before the service.

Carolina Yeannine Miller, de 50 años, de Hickory, falleció el Martes 11 de Noviembre de 2025 en Frye Regional Medical Center. Nació el 22 de Julio de 1975 y era hija de Angel Ramón Lias Payarez y Yamila Josefina Arellano.

La risa de Carolina, su amor por la aventura y la manera en que bailaba por la vida hicieron cada lugar más brillante y cada recuerdo más dulce para quienes tuvieron la dicha de conocerla.

Encontraba paz y alegría junto al agua, especialmente en la playa, donde la arena, el viento y las olas la hacían sentirse viva. Además de sus padres, a Carolina le sobreviven su hijo, Jacob Alexander Miller; su hijastro, Dylan Thomas Miller, y su esposa, Elizabeth Chase Miller; sus hermanos, Angel Yamil Lias Arellano y Jesús Alexander Gastardi; sus tías, Clara Arellano y Carmen Arellano; su tío, Antonio Ramón Arellano; y su querida perrita, Mocha Miller. También le sobreviven sus mejores amigas, Lina Hall y Claudia Vargas; su compañero, Toby Dietz, con quien compartió un amor joven en tiempo pero inmenso en significado; y un círculo cercano de amigos que dieron alegría y sentido a su vida.
