Charles "Chuck" Leslie McConvey, 72, of Hickory, North Carolina passed away on February 10, 2022 due to COVID, heart and pneumonia complications.
Charles was known as Chuck, Bubba and Shackman. He was born in Pueblo, CO on September 26, 1949 to parents Frances and Jack McConvey. He loved reading books, listening to different genres of music, watching and going to the movies, watching Jeopardy, the San Jose Sharks, blogging and most of all he loved being around his friends and family who he cherished.
He is survived by his daughter, Jamie McConvey of Hickory, North Carolina, son Sean McConvey of Granite Falls, North Carolina, sister Sheila Smith of Phoenix, Arizona, brother Mike McConvey of Brentwood, California, sister in law, Margie McConvey, grandchildren, Jasmine, Ashley, Riley, Lylah, Damien, and his newest great-granddaughter, Amiri. His nieces Rachel, Rebecca, Samantha, Heidi and Nicole along with all his great-nieces and nephews were all very dear to his heart too.
Charles "Chuck" was predeceased by his wife of 40+ years and the love of his life, Lynn Dee McConvey who died 8 years ago to the day of Chuck's death.
