Christopher Goans

Christopher Chad Goans, 48, of Lenoir passed away Monday, December 4, 2023. Born September 12th, 1975, he was the son of Gregory Goans and the late Deborah Clark. Chris, an avid Miami Dolphins and The University of Duke fan, had a love for music, motorcycles, and cars. His main passion was being a tradesman and a hard worker. He loved to fix anything and everything and was a proud father.

He is survived by his son Zach of Hickory, mother of his son Misty Goans of Statesville; significant other Amy Callaway; two sisters Angel Rector of Statesville and Star Aranda (Vincent) of Claremont; a brother Eric Goans (Kylie) of Conover; father Gregory Goans of Newton; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his mother Deborah Clark; a step-father Ernest Clark; and his sister Michelle Goans.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, December 8, 2023, from 3 - 4:00pm at Jenkins Funeral Home, 4081 Startown Road, Newton NC 28658.

Caring Cremations staff is not involved in the memorial service at the church.
