In Loving Memory of Danny Steven Robinson

Danny Steven Robinson, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on June 4, 1942, Danny lived a life defined by love, loyalty, hard work, and family.

Danny was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shannon Robinson; his parents, Jewell Robinson and Herbert David Robinson; his brother, Larry Robinson; and his son, Michael Kevin Robinson.

He leaves behind a family who will forever cherish his memory: his daughter, Brandi Schwartz and husband Jamie; his son, Mark Robinson and wife Alice; his sisters, Karen Robinson and Kay Bowman; his grandson, Michael Robinson and wife Candice; his granddaughters, Lydia Robinson, Candace Bell, Heidi Robinson, and Shannon Schwartz; his grandsons, Jacob Schwartz and Ben Schwartz.

He was also a proud great-grandfather to Kevin Robinson, Kaden Robinson, Redek Robinson, Jude Bell, and Karsten Camby, and a great-great-grandfather to Roeyn and Brooks Robinson and another Baby Robinson who is on the way.

Danny proudly served his country as a United States Marine, serving and carrying the pride of that service throughout his life. In 2020, he honored his granddaughter, CPT Heidi Robinson, with her first salute at her Commissioning Ceremony for the United States Army.

Danny had a true love for drag racing. He raced and never lost his enthusiasm for going to a good drag race. One of his greatest joys was working alongside his son, building cars to race. Those hours spent together were about more than cars. They were memories and moments that will be treasured forever.

But above all his passions, family was Danny’s greatest love. He adored his grandchildren and took great pride in watching his family grow through the generations. Papaw Danny’s house was a gathering place, and Sunday family dinners were a cherished tradition. He was the type of Papaw who never missed a sporting event, graduation, or birthday party.

Danny was also a man who took pride in his home and the life he built. He kept his yard and pool spotless, reflecting the care and attention he brought to everything that mattered to him. Countless memories were made by so many people around his pool. Splash contests and relay races brought joy that will not be forgotten.

Danny will be remembered for his love of family, his devotion to those closest to him, his pride in his military service, and the countless memories he created with the people he loved.

Though he is no longer with us, his legacy lives on in every family dinner, every story told, every race remembered, and most of all, in the generations of family who will carry his love forward.

Rest peacefully, Danny.
