David Flowers

David Vincent Flowers, 55, of Hickory passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024. Born Monday, September 30th, 1968 he was the son of Carol Jean Flowers and the late Lowell David Flowers. He had a passion for fast cars and loved spending time kayaking, playing the guitar, fishing, and riding dirt bikes. David would always be there to help anyone. He will be remembered for his kind, loving, and caring personality. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his mother Carol Jean Flowers of Hickory; two sisters Marie Flowers and Norma Jean Flowers both of Hickory; three brothers John Flowers (Flenna) of Granite Falls, Kenneth Flowers III (Ashley) of Hickory, and Rex Flowers of Hickory; five nieces Alexus Owens (Justin Bumgardner) of Claremont, Tiffany Smith (Ray Cook) of Hickory, Summer Schweighardt of Hickory, Kristen Flowers of Granite Falls, and Skyla Flowers (Jonathan King) of Vale; three nephews Dominic Flowers of Granite Falls, Derek Yoder of Conover, and Joe Flowers of Point Pleasant, WV; and a great-niece Cali Grace Bumgardner.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a brother Rob Flowers; a niece Darlena Jo Michaels; his grandparents Donald and Mary Scarsella and Franklin and Olena Flowers; and his stepfather Kenneth Flowers Sr.
