David Neil Turner

David Neil Turner, age 67, of Hickory, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Deer Park Health & Rehabilitation. Born on November 25, 1958, David was the beloved son of Jerry Franklin Turner and the late Dorothy Maureen Turner.

David is survived by his father, Jerry Franklin Turner; his son, Eric Jason Turner and wife Amanda of Statesville; his daughter, Erica Turner Davis and husband Steven of Chapin, SC; his sister, Deborah Myers of Claremont; his brother, Randy Turner of Hickory; two cherished granddaughters, Ella Marie Davis and Lily Evelyn Turner; and grandsons Christopher James Turner and Lucas Daniel Turner.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Maureen Turner, and his brother, Don Turner.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Jenkins Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Newton, NC. The family will receive friends following the service.
