Dawn Marie King

Dawn Marie King, 62, of Hickory, passed away Friday, October 3, 2025, at her daughter's home, where she had recently moved. Born May 31, 1963, she was the daughter of the late James Leroy King and Marvia Joyce King.

Dawn will be remembered as a strong, caring, compassionate, and resilient woman.

She is survived by her daughter, Jesusa Marie Street (Forrest Freddy Street III); two sons, Noah Joseph King and Ron Lee King; four grandchildren, Aerial Lyric Street, Forrest Freddy Street IV, Layla Cullowhee Street, and Bella Rose Street; two sisters, Jaci Diane Potts and Deanna Mae Zimpel; and two brothers, William Albert Zimpel and Jay Lawrence King.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Lahela Tatiana King.
