Donna Kay Finck

Donna Kay Finck, 74, of Taylorsville, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born June 16th, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Howard Condon and Bessie May Condon.

Donna was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her. She found joy in simple pleasures—especially trips to the beach, watching hummingbirds, and never missing an episode of General Hospital.

She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Lynn Nicholas; her son, Christopher Leland Root; her grandchildren, Amanda Lynn Tremain, Joseph Daniel Tremain, Andrew Tremain, Timothy O'Brien Hambrick (Elizabeth Marie Hambrick); her great-grandchildren, Kaiden Michael Tremain, Chandler Ryan Tremain, and Oakley Rykker Tremain; her sisters, Debbie Rae Brockway (Lyle Brian Huestis) and Raelynn Condon.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Rat Finck.

Her kind spirit and gentle presence will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
