Donna Jean McClellan

Donna Jean McClellan, 68, of Claremont, passed away Friday, October 31, 2025, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. Born December 3, 1956, she was the daughter of the late James Vernon Love and Edna Lee Baldwin Love.

Donna loved people and was known for her strong work ethic. She worked two jobs until her retirement from White Pine Restaurant and the Wilco Hess Truck Stop.

She is survived by her daughters, Frances LeeAnna McClellan and Linda Sue McClellan; her sons, Larry Wayne McClellan, Franklin Vernon McClellan, and Anthony Shawn McClellan; her sisters, Connie Burton, Ruth Wilson, and Deborah Love; her brother, Kennith Love; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who meant the world to her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Dusty Allen McClellan, and her brother, Tony Love.
