Dorine Russ, 56, of Newton passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born October 21st, 1966 she was the daughter of the late Daniel Russ Jr. and Margaret Rose Ann Russ.
She is survived by her son James Russ (Sarah Shearman); a sister Arlene Phillips (Robert Phillips); a brother Daniel Russ III, two grandchildren Lillyana Daniels and Alasdair Daniels, and one more grandchild that will be here around March; a niece Amber Russ; and three nephews Ricky Watson, Tyler Russ, and Daniel Russ IV.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her long time spouse James Maxey.
A memorial service for Dorine and James will be from 2:00-4:00 PM Sunday January 8, 2023 at Emmanuel Baptist Church at 1405 Emmanuel Church Road, Conover, NC 28613.
Caring Cremations staff is not involved in the memorial service at the church.
