Frances Lavonda Pollard

Frances Lavonda Pollard, 82, of Hickory passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Abernethy Laurels. Frances was a loving mother and grandmother, who always strived to be there for her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her two sons, Hal Chipman of Hickory and Jerry Chipman (Christine) of Hickory; and her two grandchildren, Sabrina and Thor Chipman of Hickory.

She was preceded in death by her three sisters, Estelle Ellis, Barbara Sigmon, and Nancy Carroll; and her two brothers, Tom Pollard and Tony Pollard.
