Herman Cowgill

Herman Joseph Cowgill, 51, of Vale passed away Friday, January 12, 2024, at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born April 24, 1972, he was the son of Patricia Gorman Harris and the late Herman Bradt.

He is survived by his mother Patricia Harris and stepfather Frederick Harris of New Jersey; a sister Heather Ragan (Brian) of North Carolina; a niece Felicia Ragan Moore (Bill) of North Carolina; two nephews James Ragan and Michael Ragan (Jessica Ragan) both of North Carolina; three great-nieces and two great-nephews all of North Carolina; two aunts Sheila Gorman of Florida and Kathleen Polisano of New Jersey; two uncles William Gorman of Delaware and Timothy Gorman of Tennessee.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his grandfather James F. Gorman; a grandmother Lorraine Davidson; and an uncle James F. Gorman Jr.
