Jeffrey Sanders

Jeff was born on March 16th, 1963 and he passed peacefully on to his eternal home on October 18th, 2023 with his wife Denise by his side. He is survived by his daughter, Farran Michael, her husband Carl, and their three children Liara, Colton, and Jaxton; his son Brian Sanders, his wife Cristina, and their two boys Landon and Samuel; his mother Gail Sanders; and three sisters Caryn Ray, Kimberly Best, and Julie Reiner. He is preceded in death by his father Peter Clark Sanders.

Jeff served in the Air Force and the Air National Guard for over 14 years before he was honorably discharged as a Tech Sergeant. He worked most recently as a Principal Escalation Engineer for Microsoft Corporation, where he had been an employee for over 17 years. Jeff loved the Lord, and he loved to play guitar. He was part of the praise team for Inspire Church (IChurch) in Hickory. He enjoyed life, building things, nature, and loving his friends and family. He adored his five grandchildren, especially playing pirates and making up silly little songs with them. Most of all he loved travelling and exploring the country with his wife of 40 years in their travel trailer. Jeff always had a welcoming smile for everyone he met and had a sense of humor that could light up a room. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on November 11th, 2023 at 2pm at Inspire Church (IChurch) 1740 Tates Blvd. SE, Hickory, NC 28602, (828) 855-2332.
