Jessie Teague

Jessie Rena Teague, 39, of Newton passed away Monday, April 11, 2022 at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center. Born Friday, August 6th, 1982 she was the daughter of the late Johnny Stamey and Debra Ann Stamey. She was the wonderful mother of three children who invested her life in her family; she always put her children and family first. She also loved cats, Gracie and Sugar were so special to her. Jessie was admired for her strength; she fought a long, courageous battle against Multiple Sclerosis. Jessie will be remembered for being a loving and caring person who would give the shirt off her back to anyone.

She is survived by her husband Alexander Teague; a daughter Desirae Teague of Newton; two sons Patrick Teague and William Teague both of Newton; a niece Amber Stamey of Boone; and a father-in-law Joe Teague of Troutman.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her mother-in-law Regina Teague.

The family is having a memorial service at 2:00 PM on Sunday April 24, 2022 at Southside Heights Park at 1400 2nd St SW, Hickory, NC 28602.

Caring Cremations staff is not involved in the memorial service at the church.
