John Howell

September 17, 1968 — July 4, 2023

John Randolph Howell, 54, of Hickory passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2023. Born September 17th, 1968 he was the son of the late James Howell and Barbara Kenny Howell. John was always looking out for others, as he saved two teenagers who had gotten into a three-wheeler accident. He was a tattoo artist and loved to sing karaoke contests, even winning a few.

He is survived by his daughter Joanna Howell and two sons John Howell Jr. and Alvin Howell.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings.
