Johnny Roscoe Price

Johnny Roscoe Price, 77, of Shelby, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Wendover Hospice House. Born in Lincolnton on August 24, 1948, he was the son of the late Charles Roscoe Price and Ruby Mae Craig Price.

Johnny married Colleen Price on July 31, 1965, and they shared almost 61 years of marriage together. He was a brick mason all his life and continued working until he no longer could.

He is survived by his wife, Colleen Price; his four children, Johnny Jr. Price (Rebecca), Wanda Lovins (Steve), Mark Price (Emily), and Amanda Bourgeois (Jimmy Justice); ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dean Price.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 15, 2026, at Christian Fellowship Interdenominational Church, 2951 Philadelphia Rd, Lawndale, NC 28090. The family will receive friends following the service.
