Joshua Eugene Knight

Joshua Eugene Knight, born February 25, 1987, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.

Joshua was a devoted husband, loving father, and loyal friend who touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He had a kind heart, a strong spirit, and a deep love for his family. Whether lending a helping hand, sharing laughter, or offering words of encouragement, Joshua was always there for the people he cared about.

He was married to Brandi J. Knight, his beloved wife of 15 years, and together they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and strength. Joshua was a proud father to four amazing children — Peyton Knight, Paigelin Knight, Payden Knight, and Phoenyx Knight — who were the light of his life and his greatest joy.

Joshua is survived by his father, Shurman Canipe; his cousins Allie Knight-Franklin and Robbie Franklin of Rossville, GA; Kenneth Knight of Chattanooga, TN; Miranda Karpinski and her husband, Ron; and Courtney Fuentes and her husband, Alfonso, along with their daughter, Izzy, all of Chattanooga, TN; and his best friend, who was like a brother, Stephen Goode (Chakka Sifford) of Hickory, NC.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Darlene Lucinda Knight; his mother-in-law, Daisy Sifford, who loved him as her own; and his aunts, Revonda Knight and Roma Knight.

Joshua will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his gentle humor, and his ability to brighten any room he walked into. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who loved him.

The visitation will be from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at Bible Way Church of Commandment Keeping Church, 201 S Ervin Ave, Newton, NC 28658. The celebration of life will follow at 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family through Caring Cremations to help with unexpected expenses.
