Kimberly "Kimmy" Bobbi Welch-Nichols

Kimberly "Kimmy" Bobbi Welch-Nichols, 36, of Mooresville, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, September 23, 2025. Born January 30th, 1989, she was the daughter of Robert Eugene Welch and Cathy Mae Osborne Welch. Kimmy was a beautiful soul who left this world too soon. She was the kind of person who’d drop everything to help a friend, even if it was just to talk. She had a deep love for animals and always went out of her way to care for them. Kimmy also loved getting lost in a good book and enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband. She will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Jessie Nichols of Mooresville; her sister, Catherine Burke (Alex) of Wilkesboro; her brother, Holden Welch (Linsey) of Statesville; her aunt, Agnes Osborne of Lincolnton; and her three beloved fur babies.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Cathy Welch; and her father, Robert Welch.

The family will be holding a private Celebration of Life at a later date.
