LouEllen James Goodwin, 75, a longtime resident of Hickory passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born August 30th, 1946 she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Edna James and was preceded in death by her brothers, RC James of Lenoir, NC and John James of Johnson City, TN.
She was an Interior Designer and Licensed General Contractor, and in her spare time she enjoyed reading and tending to her flowers.
LouEllen is survived by her daughter, Wendy Flynn and husband Chris of Hickory NC, and by her son, Casey Goodwin and wife, Caitlin of Raleigh, NC and their 2 children, Dylan and Charles.
Due to the pandemic, a private celebration of life service for her children and grandchildren will be held at a later date.
