Lyle Emerson Miller Jr., 51, of Millers Creek passed away Sunday, March 29, 2026 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. Born March 19th, 1975, he was the son of Lyle Emerson Miller Sr. and Cynthia Marie Carpenter.

He is survived by his companion, Sharon Winkler of Millers Creek, NC; his children, Tiffany Deen (Robert) of Dallas, NC and Alira Miaz from Ranlo, NC; his mother, Cynthia Shaw Carpenter; his father Lyle Miller Sr. and his stepmother, Angie Miller; his grandchildren, Madalynn, Mason, and Ainsley Caulder; his brothers, Stephen Miller of Hickory, NC and Bobby Carpenter of Cleveland, OH; his sister, Jennifer Poovey (Michael) of Vale, NC; and his nephews, Lima and Wade Poovey.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Tiffany Miller; his paternal grandparents, Albert and Oleta Miller; and his maternal grandfather, Jerry Shaw.
