Mary Elizabeth McDaris

Mary Elizabeth Harris McDaris, 62, of Granite Falls passed away Sunday, January 25, 2026, at her home. Born November 27th, 1963, she was the daughter of Luther Decalvous Harris and Earlene Lois Harris.

She is survived by her husband, Mickey McDaris of the home; her sons, Luke McDaris (LaTricia) of Sawmill and Casey McDaris of the home; her granddaughters, Olivia McDaris of Granite Falls and Natalia McDaris of the home; her great-grandson, Wesley Pope of Valdese; her mother, Earlene Shook Harris of Valdese; her brothers, Calvin Harris (Dorinda) of Granite Falls, Allen Harris (Donna) of Dearing, GA, Jeffrey Harris (Angela) of Marion, and Robin Harris (Heather) of Valdese; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Luther Harris.
