Michael Martin Griffin

Michael Martin Griffin, 58, of Statesville, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born November 25th, 1967, he was the son of the late Martin Francis Griffin and Viola Marie Riggie Griffin.

Truck driving was his life. He loved being on the road, and his favorite part was taking his daughter with him or bringing her little memories from his trips. Those moments together meant everything to him, and they will always be cherished.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Griffin of Vale; his daughter, Emily Griffin (Brandon Cook) of Hickory; and his grandsons, Landon and Luke Cook of Hickory.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Paul Hunter Laney.
