In Loving Memory of Michaelene Gilsdorf

June 5, 1941 – September 14, 2026

Michaelene Gilsdorf, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and cherished member of her family, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2026, at the age of 85.

Michaelene was preceded in death by her parents, Clairabel Green and Jack Estes Green, and by her son, Michael Gilsdorf. Though their absence left a lasting ache in her heart, she carried their memory with her throughout her life.

Michaelene will be lovingly remembered by her sister, Jackie Orr; her husband, Richard Gilsdorf; her son, Richard Gilsdorf II; her grandsons, Connor Gilsdorf and Luke Gilsdorf; and her brother-in-law, Roy Gilsdorf, along with extended family and friends who were blessed to know her.

Michaelene had a gentle and creative spirit. She was an avid reader who loved books, often finding comfort, adventure, and inspiration in the pages of a good story. She also had a wonderful artistic side and found joy in sewing, drawing, and painting. Her creativity was a beautiful reflection of the imagination and warmth she carried within her.

Those who knew Michaelene will remember her not only for the things she loved, but for the love she gave. She treasured her family and the memories they made together. Her life touched many people, and her kindness, creativity, and loving presence will be deeply missed.

Although she is no longer with us, Michaelene’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her, in the stories shared about her, in the artwork she created, and in the family she leaves behind.

May she rest peacefully, surrounded forever by the love she gave and the memories she created.
