Morvin Archbold Sr.,90, of Hickory passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022, at his home. Born July 12th, 1932 he was the son of the late Morvin Archbold and Ana Newball Archbold. Morvin loved fishing, dancing, drinking and music. He will be remembered for being a strong, loving, and dedicated husband, father, grandpa and family member. He will be greatly missed by all those who are left to cherish his memory.
He is survived by his wife Candida Britton Archbold; two sons Morvin Archbold Jr. (Claudia Cadavid-Archbold) of Hickory and Rick Archbold of Hickory; and two grandchildren Andres Archbold and Tatiana Archbold both of Hickory.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Marva Archbold.
The funeral will be 11:00 AM Saturday September 17, 2022 at St. Francis of Assisi Church at 328-B Woodsway Lane NW, Lenoir, NC 28645.
