Otto Gerardo Rucavado

Otto Gerardo Rucavado, 73, of Lincolnton, passed away Monday, December 8, 2025, at his home. Born October 1, 1952, he was the son of the late Otto Rucavado Gomez and Hilda Aguero Duran.

He is survived by his wife, Xinia Matamoros; his daughters, Tatiana Rucavado (Lee Couto), Gaby Rucavado (Jason Leonhardt), and Cindy Rucavado (Diego Garcia); and his grandchildren, Christian Couto, Samuel Couto, Kenneth Leonhardt, Dominic Leonhardt, and Dylan Leonhardt.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Ana Victoria Hernandez, and his brother, Jorge Hernandez.

The funeral will be at 8:00 PM on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, in the Celebration Center of Jenkins Funeral Home. Burial will be at Jenkins Funeral Home Cemetery on Thursday, December 11, 2025.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM before the service in the Celebration Center of Jenkins Funeral Home.

Otto Gerardo Rucavado, de 73 años, de Lincolnton, falleció el lunes 8 de diciembre de 2025 en su hogar. Nació el 1 de octubre de 1952 y fue hijo de los fallecidos Otto Rucavado Gómez y Hilda Agüero Durán.

Le sobreviven su esposa, Xinia Matamoros; sus hijas, Tatiana Rucavado (Lee Couto), Gaby Rucavado (Jason Leonhardt) y Cindy Rucavado (Diego García); y sus nietos, Christian Couto, Samuel Couto, Kenneth Leonhardt, Dominic Leonhardt y Dylan Leonhardt.

Además de sus padres, fue precedido en la muerte por su hermana, Ana Victoria Hernández, y su hermano, Jorge Hernández.

El servicio funerario se llevará a cabo a las 8:00 p. m. el miércoles 10 de diciembre de 2025 en la Capilla de Jenkins Funeral Home. El sepelio se realizará en el Cementerio de Jenkins Funeral Home el jueves 11 de diciembre de 2025.

La familia recibirá a los amigos de 7:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m., antes del servicio, en el Centro de Celebración de Jenkins Funeral Home.
