Pamela Carolyn Houser Wood

Pamela Carolyn Houser Wood, 73, of Newton passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born February 12th, 1953 she was the daughter of James Franklin Houser and Shirley Carolyn Houser.

Pam was a woman who truly loved her family and was a hard worker. She had a carefree spirit, embraced life fully, and never missed a chance to enjoy a good time.

She is survived by her son Todd Stilwell (Dreama); her grandchildren, Tyler Stilwell and Hannah Stilwell; her sister, Vickie Eckard (Dennis); her brother, James "Chuck" Houser Jr.; a number of nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Victor.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Shirley Houser.

The family is having a private memorial service.
