Pamela Taulbee

Pamela Taulbee, 62, of Newton, passed away Friday, June 12, 2026, at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born February 6, 1964, she was the daughter of the late G.B. Taulbee and Betty Jo Taulbee.

Pamela was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed spending her days reading, watching NFL football, listening to classic rock music, and keeping up with her favorite true crime television shows. More than anything, she loved being with her family and treasured every moment she spent with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Cassie Johnson (Jamie); her grandson, Jesse Johnson (Caitlin); her granddaughter, Shelby Johnson; her great-granddaughter, Scarlett Johnson; her brothers, Mike Taulbee, Randy Taulbee, and Joey Taulbee; her nieces, Mandy Bryant (Jerry), Brittany Taulbee, Jenny Taulbee, and Bridgit Taulbee; her nephew, Jason Taulbee; her beloved granddog, Reese Johnson; her grandcat, Lily Johnson; and numerous other family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry “Dig” Taulbee, and her sister-in-law, Pam Taulbee.

Her love for her family was at the center of her life, and the memories she created will be treasured by everyone who knew and loved her.
