Dianne Fox Woody, 77, of Hickory passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022 at her home. Born March 17th, 1945 she was the daughter of the late Pierce Glen Fox and Evelyn Bollinger Fox. She loved gardening, cooking, and crafts; her breads and special made Halloween costumes will be especially missed by her family. She was an avid sports fan and loved to cheer for UNC-Chapel Hill! She was also a devoted member of Faith Reformed Church.
She is survived by her three daughters Amy Callahan of Hickory, Gina Elmore (Eric) of Newton, and Emily Wood (Jason) of Hickory; six grandchildren Ashley Sain, Jessica Callahan (Curtis Lail), Lindsay Walters, Mathew Raid, Jacob Wood, and Anna Wood; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Daniel Fox.
The Celebration of Life will be 3:00 pm Monday, August 8th, 2022 at Faith Reformed Church in Brookford at 204 19th Ave SW, Hickory, NC 28602. The family will receive friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Carolina Caring Hospice at 3975 Robinson Road, Newtown, NC 28658.
Caring Cremations staff is not involved in the memorial service at the church.
