Paul Moose

Paul Moose, 54, of Claremont, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born on August 8, 1971, he was a beloved husband, father, and friend whose presence brought laughter and light to those around him.

He is survived by his wife and childhood best friend, Michele Moose of the home; his son, Lane Moose of the home; his stepson, Terry of Maiden; his niece, Kaeleigh; and two great-nephews and one great-niece, all of whom he dearly loved.

Paul’s greatest joy was spending time with his family. He especially loved Halloween and took great pride in playfully scaring his family with his clown gear, creating memories that will be cherished forever.

About six years ago, Paul was welcomed into the “moonshine world” in the mountains, where he formed lasting friendships, especially with Jim and April Parker, as well as his podcast colleague, Morgan Stewart. He treasured those friendships and the fellowship that came with them.

He was also a proud member of his Scentsy family, enjoying the opportunity to attend events, bring products into people’s homes, and meet new friends through the company.

Paul was one of the biggest supporters of the band Charity Case, proudly tattooing their logo as a testament to his loyalty and love for their music. Over time, he became like family to Eddie, Eric, and the rest of the band members.

Paul will be remembered for his big heart, his unwavering support of the people and causes he loved, and the joy and laughter he brought into every room.
