Peggy Ann Lail

Peggy Ann Longacre Lail, 71, of Lincolnton, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Conover Nursing & Rehab Center. Born May 9th, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Carl Calvin Longacre Sr. and Ocie Lee Longacre.

Peggy was fun, loving, and feisty. She cared deeply for her family and enjoyed sports and racing.

She is survived by her lifelong partner, Larry Boston; her two sons, Tim Lail of Lincolnton and Shannon Lail (Crystal) of Hickory; her grandson, Jacob Barber; her sister, Christine Palmer of Hickory; her brother, Carl Longacre Jr. of Maiden; and numerous cousins.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Bob Eller, and her sister-in-law, Paula Longacre.
