Regina Vess Nelson

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Regina Sue Vess Nelson, who entered her heavenly home on July 15, 2026, at the age of 53.

Regina found joy in the simple beauty of God's creation. She loved the outdoors, where she found peace among blooming flowers, fresh air, and the changing seasons. She had a deep appreciation for beauty in all its forms, but nothing brought her greater happiness than spending time with her family. Her love was gentle, generous, and steadfast, leaving lasting memories in the hearts of those who knew her.

A devoted Christian, Regina's faith was the foundation of her life. She carried kindness, compassion, and hope with her, trusting in God's promises and sharing His love through the way she cared for others.

She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Melinda Vess Winters, and her father, Bruce Dean Vess.

Regina leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving children, Zackary Allen Nelson and his wife, Emalie Belt; her treasured grandson, Bryson Winters; her beloved brother, David Vess; as well as many extended family members and dear friends whose lives were touched by her warmth and loving spirit.

Though our hearts grieve her absence, we find comfort in knowing that she is at peace in the presence of her Lord. Like a beautiful flower whose fragrance lingers long after it has bloomed, Regina's love, faith, and gentle spirit will continue to blossom in the hearts of all who loved her.
