Reginald Keith Hyde

Reginald Keith Hyde, 70, of Charlotte, NC, formerly of Marietta, GA, left his Earthly Walk on Monday, August 11, 2025, at Carolina Caring Catawba Valley Hospice House. Born July 20, 1955, he was the son of Sherman Auther Hyde and Dorothy Willis Hyde.

Reggie was a proud member of the First Responder EMT Unit in Marietta, GA, for many years. He was also an active member of a 12-step community for decades, both in North Carolina and in Marietta, GA, where he touched countless lives through his support and encouragement.

He loved God above all. Reggie was passionate about his nieces and nephews and each of their children. He loved completely and unconditionally, extending his heart to many, many children throughout his life.

He is survived by his nephew, Mike Jones (Vanessa); his niece, Kyndl Jones; his grand-niece, Kassy Rogers; his great-niece, Kinsley Brown; his great-nephews, Kaiser VanZandt and John Jones (Savannah); his great-great-nephew, Levi Jones; his great-great-niece, Ella Mae Jones; and his best friend, Greg Mullis.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in his Heavenly Walk by his brothers, Ronnie Hyde and Ricky Hyde, and his sister, Pamela Hyde.

A Celebration of Life service for Mr. Reginald Keith Hyde will be held at a later date.
