Ricky Dean Powell Jr.

Ricky Dean Powell Jr., 39, of Claremont, passed away Friday, July 11, 2025, at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born October 7th, 1985 in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of Ricky Dean Powell and Stephanie Jane Powell.

Ricky was known for his infectious laughter and ability to light up any room he entered. He was deeply loved by many and will be remembered for the joy and humor he brought to those around him.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Ricky D Powell III of Columbus Ohio; his daughters, Nevaeh Evans, McKenzie Powell, Autumn R. Powell, all of Columbus, Ohio; his fiancée, Kelli Moss of Claremont; his sister, Abba Raver, and her husband Aaron, of Obetz, Ohio; his grandchild, Kingston Evans, of Columbus, Ohio; and many additional family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Stephanie and Ricky Powell.

There will be a Celebration of Life at a later time.
