Robert "Bobby" Allen Harris

Robert “Bobby” Allen Harris, 62, of Denver, North Carolina made his blessed journey home in the early morning of June 4, 2026. He was born on October 21, 1963 in Charlotte, North Carolina to Marvis and Suzanne Harris. He was the eldest of three children.

Following his graduation from High School, Bobby enlisted in the United States military and served his country in the Army National Guard. He received an honorable discharge in 1983.

Bobby’s deep faith was woven through his life. Bobby’s sense of humor spanned the gambit from light hearted jabbing to serious discussion, always from his unique perspective. He loved music and was known to sport the karaoke microphone from time to time. Bobby lived a life full of adventure, leaving his family and friends a range of stories to keep his memory alive.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marvis Harris, grandparents, Worth and Dorothy Watkins and Waylon and Doris Fickling. He is survived by his son, Hunter Harris of Palm Bay, FL, his mother, Suzanne Harris of Denver, NC, siblings, Ginger Johnson of Denver, NC, Jimmy Harris (Monica) of Maiden, NC, beloved niece and nephews, McKenzie Borkowski (Mathew), Christian Johnson, and Josh Johnson, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will be sorely missed by all that knew and loved him.

A private military service will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at the Salisbury National Cemetery. A celebration of Bobby’s life will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at his brother’s residence.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to Oxford Houses of North Carolina.
