Robert Warren Smith, 72, of Hickory passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Born January 20th, 1951 he was the son of Warren David Smith and Madeline Catherine Smith. Robert loved his music and the New York Mets. He will greatly missed!
He was survived by his son Ryan Smith of North Carolina; his mother Madeline Smith of New York; three sisters Nancy Smith Pettit (Patrick), Peggy Smith, and Lisa Smith Meinecke (Donald) all of New York; and five nieces Jennifer Vullo Fargnoli (Craig), Gina Vullo Neary (Brian), Kelly Meinecke Brady (Robert), Steven Meinecke, and Katie Meinecke Kostuk (Jason) all of New York.
He was preceded in death by his father Warren Smith.
