Ronald Melton

Ronald Lee Melton, 59, of Maiden passed away Friday, September 6, 2024, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. Born January 3rd, 1965, he was the son of Charles Stewart Melton and Sandra Stiles Keller.

He is survived by his wife Emily Bryant Melton of Maiden; his daughter Melissa Melton (Michael Thao) of Maiden; his mother Sandra Keller and step-father Ray of Granite Falls; his father Charles Melton and step-mother Gwendolyn of Mountain View; a brother Jeff Melton (Brice Melton) of Mountain View; three grandchildren Bailey Melton, Kenlie See, and Elena See; nieces Jessica Miller, Adair Melton (Garrett Russell), Ashley Mitchell, and nephews Grant Melton (Ashlyn) and Brandon Bryant; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Lee and Ruth Melton and maternal grandparents Clayton and Nettie Stiles.

A celebration of Ronald's life will be 4:00 PM Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Jenkins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Harley Scalf officiating the service.

The family will receive friends an hour before the service from 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM in the Celebration Center of Jenkins Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to help with medical and funeral expenses.
