Sabrina Dale

Sabrina Kay Dale 52, of Hickory passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born, May 14th, 1970 she was the daughter of the late Charles Wayne Hicks and Linda Kay Settlemyre Hicks. Sabrina was a sweet and loving kind soul, a publish poet and amazing candy maker. She loved to spend time with children especially babies. She was a loving wife sister and niece and will be missed by many.

In addition to her husband of 24 years Gene Lee Dale, a brother Chuck Hicks and wife Tammy of Bethlehem, NC; a special aunt Joyce Gates of Hickory; Uncle Joe Brittain Sr. and wife Donna of Hickory; special cousins Joe Brittain Jr. Of Yadkinville, Chris Brittain and wife Mandy of Hickory; a best friend Dana Erskine and husband Ron of Granite Falls and many other aunts and uncles on the Dale side on the family survive her.

In addition to her parents her uncle Ken Gates preceded her in death.

The memorial service will be 6:00 PM Monday, January 23, 2023 at Hickory Church of Christ at 1218 Fairgrove Church Road, Hickory, NC, 28602. The visitation will begin an hour prior to the service at 5:00 PM.
