Sheila Moose

Sheila Ivolee McCall Moose, 69, of Hildebran passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Carolina Caring Catawba Valley Hospice House. Born March 5th, 1955, in Lenior she was the daughter of James Shields McCall and Carrie Ivolee Martin-McCall. Sheila graduated from Hudson High School and continued her education to earn an associate degree in Business Administration from Caldwell Community College. She was a member of the Hickory Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses where she enjoyed spending time devoted to her faith. In her free time, Sheila enjoyed reading, watching western movies, delving into family history, and exploring the wonders of archaeology. She had a natural curiosity and a passion for learning that she shared with those around her. Above all, she was a loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother, finding endless joy in spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by two daughters Cheryl Elaine Moose and Carrie Ivolee Moose Mitchell; two sons Donovan Wayne Moose and Kelly Lee Moose; two sisters Mona Rene' McCall and Allison Paige McCall; a brother James (Jaime) Shields McCall II; three grandsons Buddy Randall Fortner, James William Griffin II, and Peyton Alexander Sommer; and three granddaughters Skyler Brianne Sommer, Jessica Lynn Moose Lachowski, and Madeleine Dianne Foster.

She is preceded in death by a daughter Ruby Marie Moose Sommer.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 30th, 2024 at the Taylorsville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 455 Millersville Rd., Taylorsville, NC 28681.
