Steven Everette Rucker

Steven Rucker, of Granite Falls, passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, August 10, 2025, at Deer Park Rehabilitation in Nebo, where he had been living for the past year. Born on April 25, 1972, in Catawba County, NC, he was the son of Charles Everette Rucker and Betty Rucker Gross.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Denise Mackey Rucker, and his father, Charles Everette Rucker.

Steven is survived by his mother, Betty Rucker Gross, and her husband, Glenn, of Virginia; his sister, Kathy Hall, and her husband, Victor, of Florida, along with their children; his nephew, Jason Rucker, of Virginia; and his stepdaughter, Michelle Hauser, and her husband, Joe, of Florida, and their daughters.

Now at peace in the presence of his Savior, Jesus Christ, Steven’s family takes comfort in knowing he is home.
