Teresa Bowman

Teresa "T" Ann Bowman, 64, of Hickory passed away Friday, July 12, 2024, at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born September 26th, 1959 she was the daughter of Ralph Kenneth Bowman and Shirley Shook Bowman. Teresa or "T-Bird" as some called her, was always full of life and approached everything with passion. T knew how to push a person’s buttons. Whether it caused you to laugh, cry, or scream, thinking of T inevitably brings a smile and laughter, recalling the things she would do or say. She has a deep love for animals and was an advocate for their care and fair treatment. Teresa was truly one of a kind and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her two sisters Sandra "San" Bailey of Hickory and Cynthia Bowman of Hickory; two nieces Amanda Ward (Nathan) of Hickory and Brittany Bailey of Washington D.C; and a host of cousins, and friends who were all very special to her.

She was preceded in death by her Daddy and Momma, Ralph and Shirley Bowman; and all her kitties over the years.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to all the first responders and the special individuals who stepped in that afternoon. They are forever grateful for the genuine support and unconditional love that has been shown to their family.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that you volunteer your time to an animal rescue or take some time to check on someone who might need someone to talk to.

Always remember to be kind to others, as you never know what they are going through that day.

The family is having a private Celebration of Life for Teresa.
