Theresa Hicks

Theresa Renee Hicks, 64, of Hickory passed away Thursday, June 6, 2024, at her home. Born January 23rd, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Harold Odell Hicks and Eula Arlene Hicks.

Theresa was a devoted grandmother who cherished spending time with her grandchildren. She had a passion for cooking and baking, and she especially loved celebrating Christmas, delighting in preparing a huge meal and spoiling her family with her delicious treats. Her family and friends will forever remember her warmth, generosity, and the love she shared with all who knew her.

She is survived by two daughters Stephanie Thomas (Phil) and Aimee Hicks (Charles) both of North Carolina; a son Ryan Ramirez of North Carolina; two sisters Debbie Vallejo (Efren) of Illinois and Sharon Wicks (Chad) of Arizona; a brother Butch Hicks (Ann) of Illinois; a brother-in-law Mike Hudson of Indiana; and six grandchildren Emma, Nick, Ryder, Colton, Logan, and Kaden.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a sister Marcia Hudson; and her beloved fur baby Hollie.

Services to honor Theresa’s life will be announced at a later date.
