Todd Michael Miller

Todd Michael Miller, 60, of Conover, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Catawba Valley Medical Center with his family by his side. Born on September 15, 1964, he was the son of Albert Frank “Bert” Miller II and Sandra Lee (Gibson) Miller.

Todd was the proud owner of Miller Maintenance, where he poured his heart into his work and became known as the go-to guy for all home repairs. He loved engines and motors of all kinds. His mechanical know-how was matched only by his passion for NASCAR, and he never missed a race. More than anything, Todd loved his grandsons. He lit up in their presence and cherished every moment spent with them. His family was the center of his world. Both of Todd’s grandchildren share his middle name, and will carry on the lessons he instilled in them to remember the rest of their lives.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer Miller, of the home; his son Scott Miller and wife Alexandria, of Dallas, GA, and Grandson Kole Miller and mother Lisa Marie of Hickory; his daughter Jessica Miller McGinnis and husband Trey, and their son Colton McGinnis of Conover; his mother Sandra Lee (Gibson) Miller of Hickory; his brothers Glenn Miller of New York, and Chip Miller of Hickory; and his sister Cindy Miller of Florida.

In addition to his father, Albert Frank Miller II, Todd was preceded in death by his brother, Albert Frank "Duane" Miller III.

As a reminder of Todd’s peace and belief, a hand-written note from his father’s bible said, “Death is just another way that God heals his people and their loved ones.”

The Celebration of Todd’s life will be held from 3:00-5:00 PM on Thursday, May 1st, 2025, at the Celebration Center of Jenkins Funeral Home, at 4081 Startown Road, Newton, NC 28658. Family, friends, and all those whose lives were enriched by Todd are invited to join in honoring his remarkable journey.
