2 Corinthians 12:9-11

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Most people knew her simply as Jean, a name that became synonymous with unwavering love, steadfast faith, and quiet resilience. She deeply loved Jesus and found comfort and joy in reading her Bible, watching sermons, and faithfully praying over her family. She was a devoted prayer warrior — reliable, consistent, and fervent — always lifting the people she loved before God.

Jean carried within her a compassion and tenderness that touched every part of her life. She cherished time with her children and grandchildren above all else; those moments were her greatest joy and her favorite way to spend her days. Her family was her proudest accomplishment, and she was selfless in the way she loved, supported, and poured herself into them. She was always there to listen — present, patient, and full of heart. We, her children, will forever cherish the calls filled with her love, laughter, and warmth.

While she faced many challenges throughout her life, Jean met each one with an unapologetic commitment to standing up for herself and those she loved. Her determination was sometimes seen as being headstrong, but to us, it became a lasting example of strength. Through her resilience, she taught us how to advocate for ourselves and for the people who matter most. Her courage shaped us. Her perseverance strengthened us. Her fierce love grounded us.

Mom was beautiful — inside and out. Her delicate features, her graceful nose, her high cheekbones all reflected a radiance that came not only from her face but from the Holy Spirit within her. She carried the beauty of Christ’s love in the way she lived, cared, prayed, and loved.

Knowing that she is now with Jesus in Paradise brings us comfort and peace. We hold tightly to the love she poured into us throughout her life, a love that continues to fill and guide us even in her absence.

Above all else, LOVE is how we will remember her.

Her love for Jesus.

Her love for us — her children: Joseph, Sean, Jennifer, and Jamie.

And her love for her grandchildren: Casey, Tessa, and Shane.

Thank you, Mom, for your love, your strength, and the countless ways you shaped our lives.

Thank you for everything.

We love you always.
