William Victor Snipes

William Victor Snipes, 38, of Hickory, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2026, at his home. Born May 15, 1987, he was the son of Kelly Snipes Trivette of Hickory.

William was a caring soul who could always make you laugh. If you needed a smile, he was the one to go to. He had a deep love for music and concerts, enjoyed four-wheeling, and never missed a good scary movie. He also loved shopping, especially for shoes and clothes. He adored his dog, Ryder.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his two brothers, Joseph Edwards (Tamara) of Hickory and Christopher Allen (Destiny) of Lenoir; his nieces and nephews, Cooper, Emma, Watson, Mabel, and Logan; his aunts, Renee Reeve, Kim Snipes, and Christina Lingle; his good friends, Michael Harwood and Danny Hefner; his close friend, Coach Jillings; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, William and Dorothy Sigmon; his great-grandmother, Alice Bradford; his grandfather, William Robert Snipes; and his grandmother, Rita Thompkins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:30 PM on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Granny's Country Kitchen, 3448 Miller Bridge Road, Connelly Springs, NC 28612.
