Our Modern, State-of-the-Art Facility
Caring Cremations offers a different kind of funeral and cremation experience. Our Hickory facility was created with a modern, fresh approach to cremation care, combining the comfort families expect with the technology, transparency, and flexibility they deserve.
Unlike the traditional funeral-home model, our facility was designed specifically around cremation and contemporary celebrations of life. Families have access to thoughtfully designed family suites, reception areas, and gathering spaces that can accommodate everything from a quiet private goodbye to a larger celebration with family and friends.
One of the most important differences is what happens behind the scenes. Caring Cremations owns and operates its crematory on-site, using licensed and certified staff, so a loved one can remain in our care throughout the entire process rather than being transported to a third-party crematory. The facility also has separate human and pet crematories, providing additional oversight, accountability, and peace of mind for the families we serve.
The result is a facility that feels less like the funeral homes of generations past and more like what families expect today: clean, comfortable, welcoming, transparent, and intentionally designed for cremation families.
